Nick Addington (chair): Nick is Chief Executive of a grant-making foundation and has spent much of his career supporting community organisations and smaller charities. He was closely involved with Common Wheel in an advisory capacity for two years prior to joining the board. As an amateur musician who occasionally performs with a community music group, he's an advocate for the benefits of making music with other people. He also enjoys mountain biking.

Judith Foster (treasurer): Judith is a retired A&E doctor. In the course of her work she was frequently involved in the care of people with mental health problems. Her many interests include information technology, bicycles, music, and climbing.

Richard East (secretary): Richard is a Landscape and Urban Designer who has worked in private practice in Glasgow for some 30 years. In that time he has been involved in the creation of many cycle paths and has worked closely with local authorities and access agencies. He also likes bicycles and is the proud owner of a small fleet of interesting machines!

Grant Urquhart: Grant is a retired Consultant Radiologist. He was a dedicated cycle commuter and retains an enthusiasm for all forms of leisure cycling as well as bicycles old and new. He is married to a retired consultant psychiatrist.

Phil McCafferty: Phil is an architect. 
​He specialises in community-focussed regeneration with an emphasis on ecological solutions - reducing waste, more re-use and less consumption of resources. His interests include arts and culture, economic empowerment and the alleviation of  poverty, health, and human rights. He is also a keen cyclist.

Tanja Schumm: Tanja is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, participating in sports, being outdoors, and exploring new places.

​Charles Maasz: Charles is Chief Executive of Glasgow City Mission and a minister affiliated with the Baptist Union of Scotland.  He is active in the family business, a dance and performing arts school based in Paisley. He was formerly a commercial property surveyor. He is a good cook, an amateur musician and artist, and enjoys cycle touring.  He keeps chickens.

Phil Daws:  Phil is a senior local government employee with a specialism in housing and homelessness.  His interests include community regeneration and climate change issues.  He is a keen cyclist.
