Vindec Vogue

This is Alice Feeney. After much thought she chose this unusual old bike. Points of note are the 'billiard cue' paint finish, where the red meets the white, three speed gear and lamp bracket on the front fork. The mudguards have been removed for painting. Headset and bottom bracket are T D Cross, as this bike dates from 1968, when quality parts were used on childrens bikes.

Her father told us that when she went out for a ride with her friends who all had modern bikes with lots of gears, Alice was the only one who didn't have to push up hills. Three gears you know how to work are better than 21 that you don't.
