Sponsored Cycle 2011

The event

The sponsored cycle took place on 18th June 2011 in Millport. It was organised by Ross Mackie, who is a Community Mental Health Nurse in Ayrshire. Ross was friends with Charles Higgins for many years. Ross wrote "My colleagues and myself had planned to cycle round Millport for a bit of fun, I thought it fitting though that I raise money for Common Wheel and in memory of Charles."

The team raised £300 toward the refurbishment of the bicycle workshop.
