Road Racing Bikes

Road racing bikes look a lot like touring bikes or sports bikes, but have much closer clearances so will not take mudguards or big tyres. They are wonderful things, made for one reason, SPEED. They are not really suitable for commuting, clumsy riders or rain. The ones we get are too old to be competitive but not old enough for collectors. If you want a sunny day toy for runs along smooth roads then a road bike is a good thing.

The bike in the picture above belongs to one of our customers, Tom Worthington. It's a custom build and not the kind of bike that can be ridden slowly. It just wants to go.
