Refurbishment Progress January

We started the new working year with the arrival of storage containers.

We need these to put the stuff we want to keep from 77 while it's being refurbished. Anyone who has visited will remember 77 as being full of interesting stuff. In November and December we've been sorting it out. Ken and Alan have tidied it up massively, and got rid of and recycled many things.

Work started with moving stuff out, using Big Trike.

We'd been thinking about how to fill the containers as we tidied, and have tried to be neat and make the best possible use of space. There's lots more in this container now.

Sadly Stripey the Dragon will have to go. We made this for the West End Festival in 2008, though the head dates back to 2003. It's wicker frame is just too brittle now.

The contractors will be coming in soon. Watch this space for more updates.
