Raleigh Girls bikes

Eilidh and Iona Cochrane have lovely old Raleigh Bikes.

Here they are on the canal near our Maryhill Workshop.

Eilidh has a three speed roadster. It was made to have 24" wheels (541 mm), but we didn't have any alloy rims in that size at the time, so we fitted mountainbike 26" rims (559 mm) with very narrow HPV racing tyres.

Iona has a 20" wheel singlespeed. Girls bikes like this are fairly common, the boys version are so rare we've never had one donated.
