Purple bike

A classic Clubman's bike. 

This is an unidentified high grade frame we built for Gordon Livey. It's been powdercoated a lovely purple colour and built up as a light touring bike, with Mavic A319 rims on recycled Maillard hubs, a six speed freewheel and  two chainrings. The chainset is a recycled mountainbike item, with rings of 36 and 48. This is the 'new' 'compact double' size, which gives low gears for the hills without the complication of a triple chainset.

Contact points are a Brooks B17 saddle and Randoneur bars. Brake levers are Shimano R400 and bar end gears are Shimano.

As for the pink handlebar tape ... that's what he wanted.
