Peugeot with 3 speed

This is Francis Bottrall with a 25 inch Peugeot Sports bike fitted with a 3 speed. So far so ordinary, but Francis is 6 feet 8 inches tall. That door behind him is a little bit bigger than a standard door.

Very tall people have problems with bikes, as with clothes. Francis is long in the back, so was able to be fitted to the largest size of frame made by major manufacturers.

Like most tall people, Francis is also heavy. Not fat, but even with a medium build he is over 110 kg, which is a lot for a bike to carry, so we used 40 spokes in the rear wheel.

This bike was a challenge, and so far it has served him well.
